Heat Shrink Tubing

Panduit’s heat shrink tubing is designed for dry, damp, and direct burial applications. Heat shrink tubing insulates, protects, and color codes wires and cables.

This heat shrink tubing is ideal for dry locations that are not normally subject to dampness or wetness. A location classified as dry may be temporarily subject to dampness or wetness, as in the case of a building under construction.

It is also ideal for damp locations that are protected from weather and not subject to saturation with water or other liquids but subject to moderate degrees of moisture. Examples of such locations include partially protected locations under canopies, marquees, roofed pen porches, and similar locations, as well as interior locations subject to moderate degrees of moisture, such as basements, some barns, and some cold storage buildings.

This tubing works well in wet locations such as installations underground or in concrete slabs or masonry in direct contact with the earth, such as locations subject to saturation with water or other liquids, e.g., vehicle washing areas, and in unprotected locations exposed to weather.
