Omron E3NX Series Fiber Amplifiers | DigiKey Daily

Omron offers their E3NX series of 2-channel fiber amplifiers. These 2-channel amplifiers reduce installation space by half, thus allowing for size reduction in equipment and control panels. The E3NX will automatically set the light intensity based on smart tuning: simply push the tune button once without the target work piece in place, and then push the tune button again with the target work piece in place. These amplifiers can detect zero-point-three micrometer diameter targets and are capable of operating with fibers that are six meters in total length. These fiber amplifiers provide performance with highly stable detection even with two channels, from transparent objects to low-reflective work pieces. Various connecting methods are available, including 2-meter length pre-wiring, wire-saving connectors, and others.
