Conan Lite 1 millimeter board to board connectors provide a mechanically secure, high-density electrical interface between parallel or perpendicular printed circuit boards or flexible printed circuits. The Conan Lite series connectors maintain the mechanical advantages of the standard Conan connectors. A robust metal hold down feature provides improved retention to the PCB in both parallel and perpendicular board-to-board applications. In addition, polarized locator pegs ensure placement accuracy during PCB assembly. Conan Lite outperforms the competition with superior mating characteristics that include an audible click to ensure mating. The connector design provides a more reliable, vibration-resistant electrical connection with high mated retention and zipper un-mating. Gold flash plating supports 30 mating cycles while providing a more economical solution for cost-sensitive applications. Conan Lite connectors are available in vertical and right-angle configurations making them suitable for a wide range of applications. The vertical, parallel board-to-board connectors are available with 9 to 69 positions and 4.15 to 7-millimeter mating heights. The right-angle, perpendicular board-to-board connectors are available in 11 to 69 positions. Conan Lite 1-millimeter connectors support signal speeds up to 8 gigabits per second for PCIe Gen 3 applications and continuous currents up to one amp on all pins due to the low, 30 milliohm maximum contact resistance. With lead-in and polarized housing, alignment is assured even during blind mating. Available in tape-and-reel packaging and with pick-and-place caps, the Conan Lite connectors are ready for integration into your SMT product assembly and solder relow processing. With support for operating temperatures from minus 55 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius, they can handle harsh environments.
