Medical-Grade Antimicrobial Power Strips

Tripp Lite’s medical-grade power strips are coated with a patented antimicrobial coating that is 99.9% effective in inhibiting bacteria and viruses such as C. diff and MRSA. The patented antimicrobial powder coating with EPA-registered and FDA-compliant silver ionic technology protects the power strip and reduces the risk of HAIs in hospitals and other medical environments. This coating meets the requirements of JIS Z 2801:2000, an international standard for evaluating efficacy in antimicrobial products. These power strips are approved for use in patient-care vicinities when properly mounted.

The power strips supply power to movable, plug-connected components that are mounted to racks, tables, or pedestals in operating rooms, therapy rooms, imaging environments, administrative areas, and patient-care vicinities. They feature a NEMA 5-15P-HG plug and NEMA 5-15R-HG outlets, all of which are hospital-grade. Select models include integrated locking safety covers for added protection. Also featured on these power strips are two built-in resettable 15A circuit breakers to control power to all outlets and protect the power strip against overloads. The switchless design prevents the unit from being unintentionally shut off, and the 15-foot power cord provides plentiful reach to the power source. Mounting tabs and flanges allow users to install the power strips on a variety of surfaces, such as IV poles, mobile carts, crash carts, and mobile medical workstations. The all-metal housing assures safety and is guaranteed to last a long time in demanding environments.
