xG26 Family: MG26 Multiprotocol Wireless SoC, BG26 Bluetooth® SoC, and PG26 MCU

Silicon Labs xG26 family of wireless systems on chip (SoCs) and microcontrollers (MCUs) is a high-performance device family consisting of the multiprotocol MG26 SoC, the Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) BG26 SoC, and the PG26 32-bit MCU. All three are designed to future-proof the IoT against some of the most demanding emerging applications, like Matter, with double the Flash and RAM of other Silicon Labs multiprotocol devices.

EFR32MG26 Series 2 Multiprotocol Wireless SoCs and Modules are the most future-proof wireless SoCs. They are ideal for mesh IoT wireless connectivity using Matter, OpenThread, and Zigbee® protocols for smart home, lighting, and building automation products. With key features like high-performance 2.4 GHz RF, low current consumption, an AI/ML hardware accelerator, and Secure Vault™, IoT device makers can create smart, robust, and energy-efficient products that are secure from remote and local cyber-attacks. An Arm® Cortex®-M33 running up to 78 MHz and up to 3 MB of Flash and 512 kB of RAM enables more complex applications and provides headroom for Matter over Thread. Target applications include gateways and hubs, LED lighting, switches, sensors, locks, glass break detection, predictive maintenance, wake-word detection, and more.

The EFR32BG26 high-performance, energy-efficient Bluetooth SoCs and Modules are ideal for IoT wireless connectivity using Bluetooth LE and Bluetooth Mesh for smart home, lighting, and portable medical products. With key features like high-performance 2.4 GHz RF, low current consumption, an AI/ML hardware accelerator, and Secure Vault™, IoT device makers can create smart, robust, and energy-efficient products that are secure from remote and local cyber-attacks. An Arm Cortex-M33 running up to 78 MHz and up to 2048 kB of Flash and 256 kB of RAM provide resources for demanding applications while leaving room for future growth. Target applications include gateways/hubs, sensors, switches, smart plugs, LED lighting, and luminaires.

The EFM32PG26 32-bit MCU family is a software-compatible, MCU-only version of the EFR32xG26 wireless SoC platform, namely PG26. PG26 32-bit MCUs enable a wide range of low-power and high-performance embedded IoT applications. The highly efficient PG26 offers an 80 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 with an LCD controller, rich analog and communication peripherals, low current consumption, and more GPIOs to address complex systems. The PG26 is also equipped with a hardware AI/ML accelerator allowing for faster inferencing at the edge with lower power consumption.
