Image of Magnasphere L-Series Magnetic SwitchesThe L-series from Magnasphere offers remarkable ferrous-metal proximity sensing. Unlike typical reed switch devices, they need no magnet actuator. The L-series offers a robust, compact, low-cost, two-wire switch for security or industrial use. The L-series can also be configured as a magnetically tamper-resistant device. The robust, all-metal construction and design make it highly resistant to permanent contact welding due to power surges.

  • Multi-planar orientation (mounting position a non-issue)
  • Lowest cost ferrous proximity sensor available

  • Operating temperature: -40°C to 85°C
  • Gold contacts rated for 30 VDC at 250 mA
