Cannon shielded strain relief backshells with band-tied aluminum shells provide rugged strain relief and EMI shielding
Cannon MDM backshells are precision-machined, single-piece aluminum shells designed to provide rugged strain relief and EMI shielding for ITT Cannon MDM and MIL-DTL-83513 connectors. Cable braid can be secured to the shell using a supplied band-it strap for reliable shield termination.
Offered with oval and round cable entry options and top, angled, or side configurations, these backshells support flexible routing in space-constrained environments. Supplied with stainless steel hardware (jackposts or jackscrews), they are ideal for demanding aerospace, military, and industrial applications.
Available in AE (45° angle) and SE (90° angle) configurations, these backshells support MIL-DTL-83513-qualified microminiature connectors. Backshells are offered for shell sizes 9, 15, 21, 37, 51, 69, and 100, providing flexible options to match a wide range of application needs.
