Image of Efinix® Trion® T20/T13 DevicesEfinix® Trion T20 and T13 FPGAs are I/O-rich FPGAs that include two optional TX/RX CSI-2 hard cores, each RX/TX capable of simultaneous 4 Gbps x 1.5 Gbps. In addition to typical I/O expansion, bridging, and control, the Trion family is perfect for creating image processing functions while directly interfacing with the latest camera sensors available today.

The Efinix Trion T20 and T13 FPGA feature the Quantum™ fabric wrapped with an I/O interface that incorporates two fully enabled MIPI D-PHY/CSI-2 pre-engineered transmit/receive hard blocks. These family members are ideal for applications that need to interface with the latest MIPI CSI-2 v1.3 camera sensors with enough programmable logic to handle image processing functions, merging/overlay, or analysis in a single device (manipulate, interpret, or analyze).

The family is a perfect solution for traditional FPGA needs in low-power, small footprint, and price optimized applications.

The Trion family is supported by the Efinity integrated development environment. The Efinity software provides a complete tool flow from RTL design to bitstream generation, including synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis. The Efinity IDE is included with a year of maintenance when it is purchased with one of the many evaluation kits available by Efinix. The MIPI/CSI-2 specific development kit is a great testbed for debugging users' architecture and implementation for a vision-specific design.
