LMR36503-Q1 Automotive Buck Converters | Datasheet Preview
The LMR36503 - Q1 from Texas Instruments is an ultra-small, 65 Volt, 0.3 amp, synchronous, step-down DC-to-DC converter in a 2 mm by 2 mm HotRod™ package. This easy-to-use buck converter can handle input voltage transients up to 70 Volts, provides excellent EMI performance, and supports fixed 3.3 Volts, 5 Volts, and other adjustable output voltages. The LMR36503 - Q1 uses a peak-current-mode control architecture with internal compensation, and maintains stable operation with minimal output capacitance. The wide input operating range helps the converter remain functional during a deep input voltage sag condition, making the device an excellent choice for automotive applications where it can handle severe cold crank start impulses. A seamless transition from FPWM to PFM, with an ultra-low standby quiescent current, allows the LMR36503 - Q1 to support higher system efficiency at low output loads. The MODE/SYNC pin variant helps to synchronize the LMR36503 - Q1 to an external clock. The rich feature set of the Texas Instruments LMR36503 - Q1 is designed to simplify implementation for a wide range of automotive end equipment.
