ERZ-ExxAxxxS1 Series +125°C Radial-Leaded MOVs/Surge Absorbers

Panasonic's radial leaded MOVs feature outstanding performance in a reduced disc size over a broad operating temperature range

Image of Panasonic's ERZ-E14AxxxSx Series Surge Absorber Panasonic invented the ZNR® surge absorber in 1968 and is a pioneer in the use of zinc oxide as a surge absorber. ZNR stands for zinc oxide non-linear resistor, also commonly known as metal oxide varistor (MOV). ZNR/MOV devices are used to protect electronic equipment against voltage surges while saving board space and cost.

Panasonic’s ERZ-ExxAxxxS1 series radial MOVs/surge absorbers offer a 14 mm and 11 mm class disc size in the extended -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range. The ERZ-ExxAxxxS1 series features the same outstanding performance as the ERZ-V and ERZ-E series but with a reduced disc size and extended operating temperature range.
